Messages may not make it to the intended recipient for a variety of reasons, such as network connectivity or the recipient may no longer have any active devices. We’ve made improvements to let you know what messages did not go through, why, and what you can do about it. We hope you never see these errors, but if you do we welcome your feedback on how helpful they are.
* Bot compliance banners (for moderator bots) will no longer persist once the users have acknowledged and dismissed them in a room

Thank you for updating to the latest version of Wickr Me. In this release, we’re pleased to introduce message editing! Whether you make a lot of typos, changed your mind on your message’s content, or sent the wrong link... message edit allows you to edit in place, meaning your message won’t lose its spot in the message history. Note, some users that are on older versions of Wickr may not receive edits.
Additionally, we’ve also focused on making some improvements to the calling experience.
* We’ve added a participants list to the video conference UI to make it easier to see who is on your call. No more scrolling through avatars!
* If you’re the host of a call, you can now mute all other users from the participants list.
* We’ve made some design changes to the overall calling experience to accommodate these new features (and make room for more upcoming conferencing tools in the future!)
* In response to user feedback that it’s difficult to use a video conference tool when your phone is up to your ear, we’ve defaulted audio to default to speakerphone when no external headphone device is in use.
* Fixed an issue where the search UI could break when navigating from the “Show All” modal

This release is focused on enhancing the experience of finding messages that are important to you. Your rooms list will now display an extra unread badge for rooms that you have been @-mentioned in. Additionally, users will now enter a room at their last read message, not the latest unread message. Users can toggle between all unread @-mentions without needing to scroll.

In this release, we’ve made some improvements under the hood for messaging. These improvements allow users to communicate with up to 500 people in a room without a significant slow down due to message encryption.
- Introducing “Audio Only” calling, for use in low bandwidth situations. This will prevent other caller’s video and screen share from streaming to your device, improving call performance in low bandwidth situations. You can find this toggle under Settings > Connectivity.
